Code of Conduct

• Events run by LAP are meant to be a safe space and a fun environment for everyone.  Let's strive together to make it so.

• LAP members should realize not everyone is aware of or educated in pet play.  As long as questions are respectful take the opportunity to educate.

• CONSENT IS A MUST.  You should expect to give or deny consent or to respect the giving or denying of consent from others at all times.

• Respect the person, personal property and gear of individuals.  Don’t touch or pull on anything without consent.  (ie tails, fursuits, collars, hoods).

• No means no without exception.

• If members are ever made to feel unsafe or denial of consent is not being respected, alert a board member, venue staff or mosh monitor.  (ie bartender)

• If members have guests attending an event please make sure the guest abides by LAP code of conduct.

• LAP members or guests who cannot abide by the rules may be asked to leave an event.

• Treat the venue like your home and the attendees like your friends.
